Canadian by descent and now resides there with her Japanese husband and two children, therefore her art is very much a fusion of East meets West.
Artistic parentage.
Studied art therapy (hence her understanding of psychology which has had a profound influence in her images).
Her flowers began as accurate portrayals, but as her style developed have become representations (‘emblems’ says Danielle’) of personalities, emotions or experiences.
Original paintings are inspired by her extensive travel to all seven continents.
