New to Sekretza’s stylish showroom on the Costa del Sol is the work of Dèesse, an amazing self-taught artist, originally from Germany she now works from her workshop in France where she creates her striking sculptures that capture a sense of joy and passion through a patchwork of loud and exciting colours and patterns.

Her inspired sculptures display definite influences of pop art and graffiti while at the same time one can see sparks of cubism and bad painting styles as bold and vivid tints and shades are combined with abstract shapes and designs to provide us with a carnival of visual pleasure. Her work can be said to have an air of similarity to those of Romero Britto and Niki de Saint Phalle who also display a sense of dramatic energy with their use of daring colours and intense patterns.
